Russell Westbrook began his NBA career in 2008 after being drafted fourth overall by the Seattle SuperSonics, who relocated and became the Oklahoma City Thunder shortly after. Westbrook quickly rose to stardom with the Thunder, known for his athleticism, high energy, and triple-double performances. He played 11 seasons with Oklahoma City, leading the team to the NBA Finals in 2012, where they lost to the Miami Heat.
