It is unclear if Moderna's sponsorship of ESPN's 'Shot of the Day' was done on purpose or was the result of a fortunate accident; either way, the program has created a hilarious treasure.
During the tennis player's run at the US Open, the moderna-sponsored ESPN's 'shot of the day' went to unvaccinated Novak Djokovic.

From Australian Open Exclusion To US Open Triumph

For the benefit of those who aren't in the know, the tennis player hailing from Serbia received a great deal of attention in the days leading up to the beginning of the Australian Open in the previous year.
Before entering the country for the Grand Slam competition, all of the playersand staff members were forced to get vaccinated against the coronavirus. This was done to protect everyone from getting sick during the tournament.
On the other hand, it was immediately apparent that the jab had missed Djokovic completely. He had not even moved.
After some time, he admitted that he had been infected with COVID-19, but he stated that he was certain that he had sufficient antibodies to ensure that he did not put anyone else at risk during the tournament.
Nonetheless, this viewpoint was not shared by the competent authorities in Australia, and as a result, he was finally barred from entering the country.
To say that the action was divisive would be an understatement, and there was a broad spectrum of opinion surrounding the question of whether or not it should have been carried out.
Now, after more than a year and a half have passed, Djokovic has prevailed over Daniil Medvedev in the final of the US Open, and he has done so in a spectacular way.
The award for "Shot of the Day," which ESPN gave to Djokovic and which was sponsored by the pharmaceutical company Moderna, was the funniest thing about the whole thing.
A good illustration of the irony inherent in this circumstance is the fact that a company that was one of the few that developed vaccinations against the coronavirus won a shoutout competition that was ultimately won by a tennis player who had not been inoculated.
The United States Open Tennis Championship is being sponsored by Moderna for the second year in a row.
In addition, as part of the Here's to the Changemakers campaign that the company was running, Moderna aired a thirty-second commercial on ESPN.
Because of his triumph at the US Open, Djokovic has now won a total of 24 major titles.
After he had been presented with his trophy, he addressed the crowd and said, "To make history of this sportis just something truly remarkable and special."
Obviously in every in every possible way, in every possible meaning of the word special. It's hard to describe in words. I had a childhood dream when I was seven or eight. I wanted to become the best player in the world and win the Wimbledon trophy. That was the only thing I wanted.- Novak Djokovic
He added:
But then when I realized that, obviously I started to dream new dreams and set new objectives, new goals. I never imagined that I would be here standing with you talking about 24 Slams.- Novak Djokovic
According to Tennis World USA, Novak Djokovic celebrated his fourth US Open triumph with a sweet hug to his daughter Tara, who was present in the 24-time Grand Slam champion's box with his wife Jelena and son Stefan.
