People are curious about the 2023 NFL week 2 power rankingsand how all 32 teams stack up. The first week of the 2023 National Football League(NFL) regular season has concluded. As we approach Week 2, it is prudent to assess the state of the league through our customary weekly Power Rankings.

The Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals opened the season with unfavorable outcomes, but the Dallas Cowboys established a precedent for the NFC East by achieving a shutout victory over the New York Giants during Sunday night's game.

The aforementioned games significantly altered the rankings among the top 10. Amid the rankings, no club remained immune to fluctuations, as over six teams saw an ascent of four or more positions since the release of our initial power rankings three weeks ago.

In conjunction with our Week 2 Power Rankings, our panel of 32 NFL Nation reporters has selected the individuals who made a notable impression in their inaugural performancefor each club.

These individuals are classified as newcomers, encompassing rookies, off-season acquisitions, and newly appointed coaches. The commencement of the season witnessed a positive trajectory for these 32 individuals, including a range of positions such as coordinators, kickers, and quarterbacks.

Rankings Of NFL Offensive Lines Ahead Of Week 2

We will be watching the NFL offensive line play throughout the season, emphasizing the most vulnerable individuals in each group. With Week 1 of the 2023 NFL regular season in the books, here are the weekly rankings and the top playersfrom each unit.

Philadelphia Eagles

Projected Week 2 starters:

  • LT Jordan Mailata
  • LG Landon Dickerson
  • C Jason Kelce
  • RG Cam Jurgens
  • RT Lane Johnson

The Eagles' offensive line surrendered 15 pressures to the Patriots, the most in any game last season. Philadelphia retains the top place on our list despite facing a good defense in Week 1, but it is a situation worth watching.

Best player- Lane Johnson

Johnson being the top player on the line, like the unit's rating, is more about last season. He conceded the most pressure (six) in this game.

Green Bay Packers

Projected Week 2 starters:

  • LT David Bakhtiari
  • LG Elgton Jenkins
  • C Josh Myers
  • RG Jon Runyan
  • RT Zach Tom

The Packers lead the NFL in pass-blocking efficiency in Week 1 with a 96.7 rating, allowing only two pressures and not allowing a single sack on 30 dropbacks.

Zach Tom received the greatest single-game grade of his short career (84.8) after spending most of the offseason working at one position. He didn't give up a single pressure and only had one poor mark in the run game.

Best player- David Bakhtiari

When healthy, David Bakhtiari is still considered the greatest player at the most important offensive line position. He didn't allow a single pressure against the Bears, and his pass-blocking grade of 89.9 was tied for the highest among offensive linemen in Week 1.

Detroit Lions

Projected Week 2 starters:

  • RT Penei Sewell
  • RG Halapoulivaati Vaitai
  • C Frank Ragnow
  • LG Jonah Jackson
  • LT Taylor Decker

Despite missing their two top pass rushers, the Lions' offensive line lived up to the preseason promise in their first game. On 35 dropbacks, the unit only allowed five pressures.

After missing the whole 2023 season, right guard Halapoulivaati Vaitai made a successful comeback. Big V had a good grade on eight run plays in Week 1, which matched for the most by an offensive lineman.

Best player- Frank Ragnow

On Detroit's offensive line, there are several candidates for this position. When healthy, Ragnow is one of the league's greatest centers, having allowed only one quarterback knockdown since the start of the 2022 season.

Cleveland Browns

Projected Week 2 starters:

Joel Bitonio is the best player.

  • RT Dawand Jones
  • RG Wyatt Teller
  • C Ethan Pocic
  • LG Joel Bitonio
  • LT Jedrick Wills Jr.

The Browns will have to play rookie Dawand Jones for the remainder of the season after losing starter right tackle Jack Conklin for the season. Jones struggled against the Bengals in run blocking but did not allow any pressure on his 20 pass-blocking attempts.

This offensive line's interior remains excellent. In Week 1, the Browns were second in the NFL with 82 running yards before contact.

Best player- Joel Bitonio

Bitonio is one of the best guards in the NFL, and he showed why in Week 1. He did not give up a single pressure against Cincinnati. He has allowed just one quarterback knockdown (sack or hit) in his past nine games.

Final Words

Few factors are more vital to a team's success than its offensive line. terrible lines, or even terrible weak-link mismatches, may decide games, whereas solid units provide an offensive an enormous advantage.
