Raheem Sterling has returned to the England squad ahead of the 2022 World Cup quarter-final against France, after leaving Qatar due to a break-in at his home.
The Chelsea winger, 28, left camp on Sunday after learning of a robbery at his home in Surrey.

Sterling's Return

A spokesperson for Sterling stated that he decided to leave the England camp in order to "prioritize the wellbeing" of his three young children.
He was not present for England's victory over Senegal in the round of 16, but it is anticipated that he will return to the squad on Friday in Al Wakrah.
Sterling, a veteran of 81 appearances for his country's national team, scored a goal for England in their opening match at the World Cup, a 6-2 victory over Iran.
Additionally, he started England's match against the United States, which ended in a scoreless draw. However, he did not see any playing time in England's match against Wales, which they won 3-0 and advanced to the knockout stages as group winners.
According to statements made by his representative, Sterling's family was present on Saturday at their residence when "armed intruders" arrived.
It was reported that the former Liverpool and Manchester City forward was "shaken" and worried about the health of his children.
According to Kalvin Phillips, who plays on Sterling's team, the incident has made other playersfor England concerned as well.
Manchester City midfielder Phillips said:
I think once one player goes through it, there is always a thought in the back of your mind that it might happen to you or to somebody else, it isn't a nice feeling - when you are so far away from home and you've got family at home. There isn't much we can do about it but Raheem feels good enough now to join back up with us and we're very happy about that. We're glad his family is well.- Kalvin Phillips
He added that to his knowledge, there had been no discussions with the FA regarding the enhancement of security.
After the occupants of the house returned home, they discovered that jewelry and watches had been stolen, but the police in Surrey issued a statement saying that they were investigating the report of a burglary and that there had been no threats of violence involved.
On Wednesday, the police stated that they do not believe there is any connection between the case and another attempted burglary that occurred in the same village.
